Superman Dawnbreaker, by Matt de la Pena *****/5

This fourth entry in the “DC Icons SuperheroSeries” is an action-packed, entertaining book, with many cliff-hanger chapter endings. It’s a timely story about Clark/Superman dealing with the issue of disappearing Mexican-American and undocumented workers in Smallville. He has to face that not-s0-new superhero question: “How do you hide your strengths when they are needed by your friends and neighbours?” The previous novels in this series include Wonder Woman, Batman, and Catwoman. It was a fun book to read and is highly recommended.

Which of the other DC Icons in the Superhero Series would you recommend I read next? Send me a note at joyteenrebelseries@gmail.com.
